“We are Jerobums!”
“What a Long, Strange Trip it’s Been!”… Jerobums founders Chris Battles and John Nordhus first met while sharing the operations management duties at Windows on the Water restaurant in Morro Bay, CA. During their first day together, which happened to be an inventory day, the pair discovered that each approached most every task from diametrically opposed angles. Thus was forged a lasting, and very successful friendship and business relationship.
Chris was the restaurant’s Beverage Manager and Resident Wine Geek. John, who grew up in Chico Ca. (home to the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company), was mostly a “beer guy.” Over the next few months, Chris introduced John to the intriguing world of wine, and the rest is – well – HISTORY! During the next three years, Chris and John worked very closely together, building an award winning wine list for the restaurant by tasting lots and lots of wine!

We’re talking lots!
In 2002, John left the restaurant so that he and Chris could launch the now infamous Morro Bay Wine Seller, and the Central Coast Wine World will never be the same. Today, the Morro Bay Wine Seller remains the best-kept secret on the Central Coast. Come discover it yourself, then, tell a friend. Heck, tell two friends. Tell ‘em John and Chris sent you!
