2006 Cono Sur “Vision” Cabernet Sauvignon (Maipo Valley, Chile)
Cono Sur Vineyards & Winery was founded in 1993, with the vision of producing premium, expressive and innovative wines conveying the spirit of the New World. Our name refers to the company’s geographic position; it represents wines proudly made in South America’s Southern Cone, on whose western edge lies Chile and its gifted wine valleys. Our logo also evokes a freehand drawing of the silhouette of South America. Right from the start Cono Sur applied new ideas and technology to winemaking traditional methods. The main goal, therefore, is to create expressive and innovative wines from the world’s southernmost land.

This elegant and robust Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Maipo Valley, Chile’s most traditional origin. It displays an intense nose of ripe black currant, strawberries and plum, with final touches of sweet spices. In mouth this wine has generous fruit, it’s sophisticated and rich, with blackberry and juicy plum, with integrated of toasted oak and spice.

2009 Doña Paula Torrontes (Valle de Cafayate, Argentina)
In Cafayate Valley at 1700 meters altitude (5600 feet), this variety finds the best place to produce the most charming floral aromas. From old high trellised in Spanish “parrón” vines, this beautiful example of aromatic Torrontés is produced. This Doña Paula Estate Torrontés has a golden-yellow color. Generous white peach and apricot, along with floral notes of delicate jasmine and white acacia rise from the glass.
